Annual Report Reveals an Increase in Total Recalls and Vehicles Affected for 2018
Recalls on the rise!  Second annual State of Recalls Report unveils critical US-based vehicle recall data. 

Recall Masters, the #1 resource for recall news and data, plans to release its annual report detailing the year in automotive recalls some time later this month.  While the company completes a more thorough analysis of industry recall data, it's clear that the recall crisis isn't ending any time soon.  In analyzing NHTSA recalls for 2018, the company tallied 284 total recalls affecting 32,753,674 vehicles, as compared to the 2017 tally of 249 recalls affecting 28,870,885 vehicles.  This initial report finding further highlights the danger vehicle recalls pose to drivers and passengers on US roads and highways.  In it's final report, Recall Masters will also present data on voluntary manufacturer recalls as well as segment data based on vehicle system defect and potential risk for injury or death.  To receive a more comprehensive version of the report later this month, subscribe to the report's release here
